the family room was super spacious and comfy, had a nice seating area with chairs and tv. location is pretty cool too, just a short walk across the street to see the connel bridge and loch. staff were really friendly and helpful, making us feel at home. the food we tried in the restaurant was tasty, def recommend it. overall, great vibe and stunning views!
only downside was the slow service for check-in and check-out, and brekky started a bit late for early risers.

Food was top notch and I was blown away by the stunning views from my room got to love a place with character. I had smoked haddock that was perfectly cooked with a cheese sauce that was just right and definitely not overpowering.
It wasn’t inexpensive but still worth it.

the staff were super nice and always helpfull. breakfast was tasty with a great cold buffet, hot stuff was really good too. my room was clean and cozy with a great view. loved the bistro menu, good prices too. so nice to chill in the private garden.
the decor in some places felt pretty old-fashioned and the restaurant needs a bit of a revamp.

Charming ambiance with stunning views
I had a lovely stay in a single room that was comfortable, clean, and offered breathtaking views of the loch. The dining experience was delightful with a varied menu, and I particularly enjoyed the evening meal served with care. One drawback was that the room's temperature control could be subtly improved for a more comfortable night’s sleep.

Charming traditional hotel with a lovely sunset view over the lake. The room was cozy, and we had a generous dinner despite arriving late. Breakfast was nice, with choices for everyone!
My husband nearly needed a steady hand for that toilet seat—doesn’t stay up! The wifi was as reliable as my aunt's cooking—good luck with that!
